Good food and a great location. Staff and service always good and there is plenty of space. Would be 5 stars but they no longer serve food outside. It can be windy so it's understandable, but they've lost one of their best features.

Tommy was very helpful, fitting us in at very last minute. As it was dark when we arrived the building looked nice and I bet they have great views in the summer. The service was great. The starters were lovely but the main was a little lacking. It's was a one of the specials for the night, Seafood Linguini in a cream sauce. The cream sauce was watery and not full of flavour and it was only salmon, white fish and tiny prawns. For a special it was just missing something. I would go back again.

Barclodiad y Gawres

Dramatic location for Victorian restored barrow on a dramatic headland. Note no facilities, necessary to walk on cliff path to get to it. Access inside is restricted by iron railings and gate but access through this can be arranged, see sign at car park for details

Beautiful place, as a local it is one of my favourite places to come. The views from the top of the burial chamber are incredible, surrounded by ocean in front, countryside from the back and beaches either side. The burial chamber itself is locked so you need the key to go in but you can still walk around the mound and through the entrance with the historic feel. There is an information board at the start of the path from the beach way and a slate with information on the stones at the entrance. It's great place to come for a stroll from Cable Bay beach and a nice little trek from the local village. Also it is on the coastal path, beautiful walk.
